| 2008 marked the 30th anniversary of the formation of The Monochrome Set, and 10 years since the band last played live. It also happened to be the year of the 30th Anniversary of Cherry Red Records, who have had a long affiliation with the band. We agreed to reform and play a one-off concert at their party, though it was invite-only.
